Collegiate Wind Reports

Overview

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Collegiate Wind Competition (CWC) challenges undergraduate university students to design, test, and build transportable wind turbines. Alongside turbine design, multidisciplinary teams create business plans and engage in local outreach to prepare for careers in the booming renewable energy industry.

Teams publish their design reports as part of the competition, which can be a valuable source for research and inspiration. A collection of reports from winning teams in recent years and entries from Northern Arizona University can be found here.
