Overview

The NASA Glenn Research Center publishes multiple aeronautics simulators available for free use by the public.

One simulator useful to understanding airfoils is the FoilSim Student Airfoil Interactive simulator (local) (NASA)

With this simulator you can investigate how an aircraft wing produces lift and drag by changing the values of different factors that affect lift and the factors that affect drag.
